ATTENTION: - While filling in the above form, half or larger fractions of a centimeter (0,5 to 0,9 cm) must be rounded up to the next higher whole cm.   A smaller fraction (0,1 to 0,4 cm) must be rounded down to the next lower whole cm. - To calculate the volume of a drum the diameter should be treated as lenghth and width. -  Please note in some cases the airline will not apply this calculation of the chargeable weight. They will give the freight forwarder the    chargeable weight. He will normally then inform you about this chargeable weight. -  For a few countries in IATA area 3, for all or for specified commodities, the volume weight is to be calculated with 7000 cm³ for 1 kg.     (then the above calculator will not be correct) -  The chargeable weight must always be shown on the air waybill. -  The volume weight shall be calculated up to three decimal places before rounding off.  Quotations Freightfly Track-and-Trace Incoterms Chargeable Weight Calculator IATA  Airport Codes Membership About us FAQ How to read an AWB Articles and News Menu CHARGEABLE WEIGHT CALCULATOR
